As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Administer and optimize existing hosts and servers to ensure high availability and resource management.
• Research, recommend, and implement strategies, hardware, and software to enhance a complex infrastructure that meets evolving customer needs.
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Deliver mission-critical infrastructure focusing on accessibility, optimization, and security.

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. An additional five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, totaling nineteen (19) years of SE experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• SEC+CE or equivalent.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware products, including ESXi, vCenter, VSAN, and NSX.
• Experience with VDI environments, particularly VMware Horizon View.
• Expertise in managing physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers and desktops.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as routing, switching, encryption, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, architecture, and its integration with desktops, servers, and OS.
• Experience with packet capture and network analysis tools.
• Understanding of network security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions and datacenter operations.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking & Micro-segmentation.

 

Salary Range: $150,000 - $210,000
