BlueHalo is seeking Environmental Chamber Technician to support the Force Health Protection Section in the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB.  The person filling this role will be responsible to for operating and maintaining a research Environmental Exposure chamber, as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary research team with a mission to develop solutions focused on addressing occupational and environmental hazards in Air Force environments, focused on Warfighter Health.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for technical oversight and operation of a 12’Lx12’Wx10’H environmental chamber which can operate at temperatures from -60 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit at a broad range of humidities and incorporates multiple capabilities to enable experiments at environmental extremes with or without human occupancy. The incumbent will have experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment. Responsibilities may include minor maintenance and chamber modifications, coordination of major maintenance with the manufacturer, coordination with users, and assistance with technical details for test plan development and execution.  The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter, have excellent organizational and time management skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

• B.S. Degree; or equivalent experience in an engineering field (i.e. Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical) or a closely related field.
• B.S. Degree is desired
• Significant (8-10+) years of mechanical and electrical experience in a relevant related industry is required
• This position may require occasional travel (<10%)
• This position is onsite at a government facility and requires U.S. citizenship
