OVERVIEW

The Compensation Manager manages the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and reporting of our compensation programs, including executive compensation and equity with focus on strategy, customer service, compliance and administration. This role involves analyzing compensation data, conducting market research, and collaborating with HR and management teams to design and adjust compensation structures and incentive programs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as primary compensation point of contract to corporate staff and executive leadership.
  • Manage the administration of the annual compensation review process, including preparation of data and system, communication and training to HR, and consolidation of data for approvals
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs, policies and procedures, and make recommendations regarding salary structure, base/variable pay, partner with the business on incentive compensation.
  • Conduct analysis on executive pay structures, incentive plans, and equity programs to help attract, motivate and retain top talent.
  • Support and help evolve the company's executive compensation strategy, in alignment with organizational goals, market trends, and shareholder interests
  • Respond to management and HR on requests for ad hoc job analyses and salary recommendations as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR team and business leaders to design and implement compensation programs that support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Participate in compensation surveys , maintain market data database with up-to-date job matching, including loading new survey data, employee data, and job matches
  • Support job evaluations, reclassifications, and reorganizations to determine appropriate salary, grade and job title governance
  • Apply knowledge of compensation policies and procedures to recommend and implement solutions
  • Provide expertise and support on various compensation projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, company wide initiatives, and new programs.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • BA or BS Degree with 5+ years of direct compensation experience
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems with preferred experience with UKG Pro.
  • Preference for Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and demonstrated ability with other MS Office Applications.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and follow-up skills necessary to prioritize and complete multiple projects and tasks and effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, cost analysis, formulate conclusions and present conclusions regarding business issues.
  • Experience with salary survey participation included data audits, validation and benchmarking.
  • Prior experience working for a multi-state federal government contracting firm is preferred.
