Writing and editing programmatic documentation using approved Government templates and formats. Assisting in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications. Gathering technical information and preparing written text. Maintaining a current internal documentation library. Using multiple word processing and presentation tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. Working with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials. Coordinating layout and design of documents. Researching highly technical subject matter, organizing information from multiples sources, and expressing technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers. Providing expert oversight of technical writing and editing to all phases of acquisition and technical documentation for the program, project, or contract.


  • 3+ Years with BA.
  • Ability to work independently, and prepare and maintain highly complex systems, programming and operations documentation, procedures, and methods.
  • Ability to prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
  • Understanding basic grammar concepts.
