WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design and implement Elasticsearch solutions for clients based on their specific needs and requirements. Utilize expertise in data analytics and search technologies to optimize Elasticsearch performance. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project goals and develop effective solutions. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends in Elasticsearch and other related technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during implementation or maintenance of Elasticsearch solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and junior engineers. Develop and maintain documentation for Elasticsearch solutions and processes. Continuously monitor and improve the performance and efficiency of Elasticsearch solutions. Participate in project planning and estimation activities. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions. Mentor and train junior engineers on Elasticsearch best practices and techniques. Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance our Elasticsearch offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Elasticsearch solutions with other systems and technologies. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and best practices. Maintain a high level of quality and ensure timely delivery of all Elasticsearch projects.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education and 4 -10 years of experience.
  • Experience with Kafka or Spark Experience with RedHat Linux Experience with KSQL Experience with Ansible Experience with data architectures and data streaming DoD 8570 IATII certification is required prior to start.
  • Experience with enterprise level architecture design and development.
  • Experience with container technologies.
  • Experience with multiple scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.).
  • Good Debugging Skills and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
 
Salary Range: $155,000 - $230,000
 
 
The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
