WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a System Engineer VI, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the development of the Tactical Edge Platform. In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical oversight and leadership in the overall design and integration of the project.
  • Collaborate with the program team to develop and streamline business processes.
  • Assess the selection of hardware and software to ensure the best tools are in use.
  • Validate compliance with standards and integration across organizational boundaries.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Identify technical, environmental, and policy constraints to project success.
  • Ensure product deliverables adhere strictly to project requirements and standards.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience. Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of experience, or an advanced degree with eighteen (18) years of experience.
  • Experience in cloud-native systems, ideally with a focus on coaching rather than direct implementation.
  • Knowledge of containerization and the ability to guide teams in adapting applications to modern cloud architectures.
