This senior role is ideal for a UI developer with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and a proven track record in leading UI projects from conception to completion. • Develop high-quality, interactive UIs using HTML5 and JavaScript frameworks, primarily React.js, ensuring adherence to modern web standards and 508-Compliance.
• Collaborate with the development team to transform design mock-ups into functional, dynamic web applications.
• Maintain and enhance application functionality by implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases using React.js workflows.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and other backend services to ensure seamless data exchange and application performance.
• Utilize modern front-end build pipelines and tools for efficient development processes.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and engage in troubleshooting and debugging to resolve software issues.
• Customize user interfaces to meet specific mission or site requirements, ensuring optimal user experience and performance.
• Prepare and edit technical documentation to support software development and deployment.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

• 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on UI development and design in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or an additional four years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a strong understanding of React.js and its ecosystem.
• Experience with version control systems, notably Git.
• Good understanding of UI design principles and best practices in creating effective user interfaces.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and test UI components, ensuring robustness and reliability.
