• Administer and troubleshoot systems within Linux environments and utilize Ciena for telecom network support, including software loading and configuration.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cables, collection systems, and data flow, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate data post-software deployment.
• Manage the submission of Discrepancy Maintenance Reports (DMRs) to address and resolve data flow path issues.
• Configure and update software, consistently applying your expertise in NiFi and Linux to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions across various program areas.

• At least seven (7) years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts with similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Alternatively, a total of twelve (12) years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Proficiency in Linux and NiFi, with a deep understanding of system configurations, software deployment, and data flow mechanisms.
