UES, a BlueHalo Company, has an opportunity for a highly skilled Engineer to join a small multi-disciplined team supporting research and development activities for the Air Force Research Laboratory. Candidate will use creative problem solving and engineering acumen to design field and lab test infrastructure and perform state-of-the-art experiments in support of the USAF and USSF.

• Develop and maintain lab and field test infrastructure that integrates COTS and custom hardware, software, and data acquisition.
• Support test activities through planning, documentation, execution, and post-test analysis
• Provide solutions spanning multiple disciplines including electrical, software, and electro-optical engineering.

• This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship
• Must have the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance
• B.S. (or higher) in Engineering with 0-3 years’ experience.
• Interest in electro-optics and laser systems with academic or hands-on experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Self-directed worker willing to adapt against unique challenges and inclined to take ownership and pride of project responsibilities.
• Careful and diligent work ethic resulting in high-quality results.
• Experience with imaging, optics, and/or lasers
• Laboratory and/or field test experience
• Working knowledge of data acquisition and hardware/software interaction
• Programming experience
