OVERVIEW

BlueHalo is currently seeking an Experienced System Administrator to provide critical contributions towards a high priority CNO program. Our team seeks problem solvers, innovators, technologists, and operators looking to remain at the forefront of driving meaningful change and make an enduring impact on the national security mission. WHAT YOU WILL DO

As an Experienced System Administrator, you will be supporting a high priority CNO mission. 

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Designing, monitoring, and maintaining the production infrastructure and system security plan (SSP).
  • Working with mission customers to identify and execute new IT system requirements.
  • Communicating and collaborating with admin team counterparts across organizations.
  • Working directly with system users and developers to help with day-to-day IT issues as they arise.
  • Understanding the needs of the rest of the team to remove roadblocks.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • Requires at least 9 years of relevant experience, with or without a degree.
  • Knowledge of system administration processes, including STE/STN and UAM.
  • Experience successfully navigating customer SSP processes.
  • Strong Linux systems administration experience.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, both commercial and customer environments.
  • Experience with IT automation via shell scripting or programming in Python.Nice to Haves:

  • CNO experience.
  • Experience facilitating low-to-high development.
  • Experience with docker and other containerization solutionsExperience with orchestration systems, such as docker swarm or kubernetes.
