BlueHalo is seeking a versatile Computer Network Exploitation Analyst, to join our dynamic JCPG (Joint Cyber Planning Group) team on emerging projects. In this role, you'll leverage your software engineering expertise to design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate cutting-edge solutions aimed at delivering impactful results for our mission-centric objectives. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team including analysts, operators, data scientists, and fellow software engineers, you will be instrumental in bolstering our mission support capabilities.


  • Enhance and expand our existing suite of toolsets to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate in deriving, documenting, and analyzing requirements to ensure alignment with mission goals.
  • Develop prototypes to validate understanding and feasibility of mission requirements.
  • Deliver robust end toolsets designed to seamlessly operate within the specified mission constraints.


  • 12 years of experience, or 8 years with a B.S. degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in reverse engineering for Windows, Linux, or embedded platforms.
  • Proficiency in developing and modifying software systems using C/C++/Python.
  • Commitment to supporting and maintaining fielded software systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) for project management and documentation.

Nice to have: 

  • Exposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust, Assembly.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and experience in network traffic analysis (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Background in working with CNO customers and/or related capabilities.
  • Experience in Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) collection and analysis systems.
  • Familiarity with the production of CNO capabilities and operations.
