OVERVIEW

BlueHalo is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge mobile tooling that plays a crucial role in national security. We are seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer who is passionate about utilizing their software and mobile development expertise to support our mission-critical team. Your role will significantly enhance our development and integration processes, directly impacting the time to market of our tools and, ultimately, national security. We value experience in both Android and iOS mobile device APIs and are looking for someone who is ready to take on the challenge of developing, verifying, and integrating complex mobile tools. Ideal candidates will have experience with automating the verification of mobile device functions and applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop automated pipelines for tool integration, aiming to replace existing manual procedures effectively.
  • Utilize a device farm and various automated techniques to support the development, testing, and integration of capabilities.
  • Engineer tool capabilities and establish a CI/CD pipeline, leveraging platforms such as GitLab.
  • Collaborate closely with users and stakeholders to understand and derive requirements that guide the automation processes of mission-critical systems.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • 12 years of experience, with a B.S. in a technical discipline. Alternatively, 16 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Android and iOS mobile device APIs, including development, testing, and automation (e.g., device farms).
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages (e.g., Ruby, Perl) for process automation and testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and integrating capabilities, with a strong focus on automation integration

Nice to haves:

  • Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and experience with network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Familiarity with Java and common development frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
  • Experience in capabilities development within a CNO (Computer Network Operations) setting.
