Eqlipse Technologies is in search of a Systems Engineer to join our elite team, supporting a high-priority and highly visible Cyber program. As a System Engineer, you'll take on a pivotal role. Your responsibilities include Software Configuration Management of FOSS, COTS, and GOTS libraries, packages, and applications for HPC systems. Dive deep into CI/CD pipelines and software integration tools, working closely with software development teams to develop, sustain, validate, and audit processes and procedures. Plus, seize the opportunity to become a certified Data Transfer Agent (DTA).

  • Join an Integrated Product Team and participate in designing new capabilities, evaluating development and operational aspects.
  • Dive into the world of system requirements and derived requirements, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge production systems.
  • Contribute to crafting sections of systems engineering documentation, making your mark on projects like System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Collaborate with top-notch engineers on developing system requirements, functional requirements, and their allocation to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
  • Be a crucial part of coordination efforts across different disciplines, resolving action items in Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
  • Define methodologies, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against their requirements.
  • Develop system design solutions that bring requirements to life and fulfill functional analysis.
  • Play a significant role in reviewing and providing input to program and contract work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and integrated master plans (IMP).
  • Shape the development of essential system engineering documentation, making an impact on projects like System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Dive into interface definition, design, and configuration changes, ensuring seamless communication between affected groups and individuals throughout the project life cycle.
  • Derive an understanding of stakeholder needs and functions, connecting the dots to enhance system effectiveness.
  • Transform high-level allocated requirements into detailed lower-level ones that are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable.
  • Participate in defining systems or components under development, providing a common reference point for hardware and software developers.
  • Bring your expertise to the table by developing requirements for Information Assurance Services, Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms, and Security Mechanism Technology.


  • Join us with at least seven (7) years of system engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
  • Bring a bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. We offer the flexibility to substitute five (5) years of additional system engineering experience for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Linux CLI.
  • Scripting prowess with Bash/Python.
  • Ownership of SDLC artifact creation, review, and maintenance.
  • Expertise in CI/CD principles and concepts, including GitLab.
  • Adeptness in Git, including mastery of various branching strategies.
  • Familiarity with IaC concepts, principles, and automation tools like Ansible.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 system life cycle processes.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
