Eqlipse PRIME contract is seeking a Software Engineer for this Python Developer position who enjoys the innovative and creative side of software development and technology evaluation associated with finding innovative solutions to mission critical emerging challenges! You will be part of a talented software team that focuses on developing solutions to innovate mission-critical applications, following agile software development practices to complete tasks on time. The requirements and priorities for this position are early and evolving. Those interested in this position should be comfortable with change, as this opportunity is focused on finding innovative solutions to our customer’s toughest challenges, addressed via research and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) of new technologies, experimentation, and prototype development. Skills around provisioning of infrastructure within a hybrid, multi-cloud environment is desired (e.g. VMware for on-prem, AWS & Azure). Functional themes for the effort include data analytics, ML & AI, Cyber Threat Intelligence, DevOps, Containerization & Orchestration, Cloud Migration (AWS & Azure), cross-domain capabilities, and many more. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
