UES, an Eqlipse Company is seeking a biochemist to support the Airmen Systems Directorate within the Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.


A successful candidate will have experience developing and analyzing diverse sample types using molecular/biochemical techniques, such as immunoblots, ELISA, and other mid to high-throughput analyses. Experience in -omics based chemical analyses is also desirable. The candidate will work in a small, experienced group where communication among members and investigators is paramount. Applicant must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, self-motivated, illustrate great attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment to meet critical deadlines. U.S. citizenship is required.


  • This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field / OR M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and 2+ years of experience / OR B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and 5+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with various molecular / biochemical techniques is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting publications as demonstrated through being a co-author.
  • Experience with electrochemistry and electrochemical sensors.
  • Experience with point-of-care diagnostic development
  • Experience with antibodies, oligonucleotide aptamers, peptide aptamers, and/or enzymes.
