WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, providing crucial services that encompass a wide range of activities. From requirements analysis to software development, installation, integration, and beyond, your role will be anything but ordinary.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • Software Savvy: At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in software development/engineering.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Certification: Possession of Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification.
  • Language Proficiency: Minimum of four (4) years' experience with high-level languages like Java, C, C++.
  • OpenSource Explorer: Proven ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products supporting distributed, parallel computation.
  • Big Data Aficionado: Familiarity with MapReduce programming model and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.
  • Hadoop Expertise: Hands-on experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
  • Restful Innovator: Demonstrated work experience in developing Restful services.
  • UNIX/Linux Pro: At least three (3) years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux (Redhat versions 3-5) operating systems.
  • Object-Oriented Mindset: Work experience in the requirements analysis and design of at least one Object-Oriented system.
  • Integration Guru: Proven work experience integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products.
  • Testing Champion: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software integration and software testing, including the development and implementation of test plans and test scripts.
  • Technical Wordsmith: Technical writing skills, with the ability to generate documents to support software development projects.
  • Cloud Prowess: Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Big Data Insights: Understanding of Big-Data Cloud Scalability (Amazon, Google, Facebook).
  • Analytics Visionary: Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms.
  • Social Network Maven: Ability to develop and deploy analytics that discover and exploit social networks.
  • Technical Documentation: Proficiency in documenting ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software application program interfaces, and other technical specifications.
